Lizzie graduated in 2008 from Aberystwyth University with a BA in Drama and English. She found her interests lay mainly in Shakespeare and magic, and has just completed her Masters degree in Medieval and Renaissance Literature. During her studies she also found an aptitude in marketing and organised a University final year Drama production through the option Performance Management and Marketing. To aid her studies Lizzie currently works as the marketing and outreach secretary for an academic department within the University.
Lizzie has been involved in many productions with Louche Theatre, as well as Castaway Community Theatre, Aberystwyth Arts Centre and Bold Productions, as an actor. Her first acting role in Aberystwyth was as Irene in The Dresser in May 2007. She has been involved in two Christmas community productions, and Louche's most recent productions The Remnants of Once Fine Girls and Tom Jones. Lizzie says her most challenging and fulfilling role was as Dr Ruth Kovacs in Louche's production of Effie's Burning. She has recently worked with Castaway on Shakespeare's Loves Labours Lost and thoroughly enjoy revisiting Remnants at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010 last year.
She also likes to brag that she once met Patrick Stewart in a pub whilst she was at Stratford-upon-Avon College and had a whole afternoons Q&A session with him!
