Picture of Harry DurnallHarry has worked in theatre for over 30 years, as a Director, Designer and Actor. During this time he has contributed to over 200 productions, ranging from Shakespeare to Panto , Musicals to Melodrama. For 15 years he was Artistic Director of the award winning Belfrey Theatre in Shropshire.

Since relocating to West Wales some years ago, he has worked freelance. Productions over the last two years have included the hit musical, 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'Effie's Burning', 'The Royal Hunt of the Sun', the RSC premiered 'Christmas Carol', 'After Juliet', Laurie Lee's 'Cider with Rosie' 'Blue Remembered Hills', 'Seven Jewish Children' 'Tom Jones' and the World Premier of 'The Remnants of Once Fine Girls', all as Director and Designer. 'The Remnants of Once Fine Girls' was performed at the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it was nominated for a total of 6 production and individual awards'  In November 2010 he directed and designed the much acclaimed production of 'The Roses of Eyam' and in 2011 Directed 'Be My Baby' which transfers to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2011

As an Actor he has performed in a Pinter double bill tour, 'Ashes to Ashes' and 'Silence' for Bold Productions, 'Travelling Light 2' for Aberystwyth Arts Centre, and played Capt Hook/ Mr Darling, again for Aberystwyth Arts Centre, for which he was also Designer. In 2010 he played the part of Gilbert in the story of Gilbert and Sullivan, and starred in the film 'An Interview with Donnie Dynamo' which was nominated for an award by the BFI.

At the moment he is preparing'Be My Baby' for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and starting work on 'Under Milk Wood' which will be presented in November 2011. Future plans include 'Twelfth Night' in association with the RSC in July 2012
